During the 2015 Gold Rush event, local Oronoco artist George Rusovick captured the flavor of our event by depicting four individual scenes in watercolor.
Artist George Rusovick was an art educator for 35 years in the Rochester, Minnesota school system. His work has been in both juried exhibits and one-man gallery shows and he has been commissioned to do paintings for individuals and companies. His work is in the permanent collections of IBM, St. Olaf College, University of Northern Colorado, Colorado Fuel and Iron Corp., Minnesota Education Association and the Rochester Public Schools. His work is also in private collections throughout the United States and foreign countries.
