Welcome to KIDS ZONE @ Downtown Oronoco Gold Rush Days! Located on the grassy knoll at the VFW, children of all ages will find plenty of fun activities to do. Here you will find a bounce house, panning for GOLD, face painting, “around town” scavenger hunt passes with prizes, fun photo ops, give aways and loads of additional activities! * children under age 12 must be supervised by an adult. Best of all, this area is FREE ADMISSION all weekend during Downtown Oronoco Gold Rush Days!
Additional childrens/family event* The Zumbro River Duck Derby will be taking place at 5pm Saturday August 16th at Oronoco Park during Gold Rush weekend. Tickets (Ducks) can be purchased at the information booth, inside the VFW or at the Fire Department during show hours. If you are looking to purchase tickets NOW (in advance of Gold Rush Weekend, tickets are available at Casey’s, Two Sisters Restaurant, VFW #9647 , Fire Department and via email @ oronocogoldrushdays@gmail.com.
