“Our authentic Old Barn Wood items reflect the rural, rustic appearance of century old reclaimed barns. The items we offer are hand made, each with their uniqueness that shows the history of the barn it came from. They are individually made of untouched barn boards which show nail holes, rust from a latch, imprints from a cow rub or barn door swinging, along with the weathering from the different colors of paint. The workshop that we use to create our items is an old Minnesota barn that originally was built as a local two story school house in 1886. Thirty years later they needed a bigger school house so it was moved to our farm and adapted for cows and horses. We were destined to continue participating in Old Barn traditions by reclaiming rural Minnesota barns and preserving a slice of American history in our barn wood creations.” http://www.facebook.com/oldbarnwoodsandgoods/
